It seems as if Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is trying to make up for dead-air in between album releases of the past. Today NIN announced that they would be releasing their entire new Album (yes another one), The Slip through their website completely free. This album is explicit so don’t worry about that.

You can download the files in mp3, FLAC, wave, and 24/96 formats. If you’re a geek like me then you’ll enjoy that they plan on releasing this album on vinyl & CD in July of this year.

When Year Zero first came out I purchased 18 copies of the disc and handed it out to friends and co-workers who appreciated the viral marketing revolution that they really started. Please don’t wait till tomorrow to download the song as the servers will probably be overloaded like last time.
